It’s priced at $329 ($299 for education) and has support for both Apple Smart Keyboard Cover as well as the Apple Pencil. But does the 7th generation iPad 10.2 support Logitech Crayon? The answer is yes! The Logitech Crayon works with the 7th generation iPad 10.2.

List of iPads that support the Logitech Crayon

  • iPad Air 10.5 (3rd generation)
  • iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 (2018 edition)
  • iPad 6th generation
  • iPad 7th generation 10.2
  • iPad Mini (5th generation)

So, if you are looking for a cheaper Apple Pencil alternative, you can go ahead and buy the Logitech Crayon for the iPad 10.2.

Should you buy the Logitech Crayon instead of the Apple Pencil for the 7th generation iPad 10.2?

Personally, I would go with the Crayon instead of the Apple Pencil. While the Apple Pencil is great, it’s also really expensive. Priced at $99, the Apple Pencil is a very expensive accessory for a tablet that costs just $329.

The Crayon is a more logical choice. It’s priced at $69 and many a time, you can find it for a significant discount at Amazon. It’s currently priced at $49 on Amazon and it’s certainly worth it at this price point.

However, you will need to note that the Crayon doesn’t have pressure sensitivity. It has tilt sensitivity and excellent palm rejection, though. If you are an artist or plan on doing anything that requires pressure sensitivity, the more expensive Apple Pencil is the way to go.

If you are buying an active stylus only for jotting down notes, the Crayon is a better option. Also, if you are buying the iPad 7th generation for a kid, the Crayon is what I recommend. It’s more rugged than the Apple Pencil and won’t break away very easily. In addition to that, there are fewer chances of your kid breaking the Pencil while charging through the iPad.

So, now you now. The Logitech Crayon will work with the iPad 7th generation. You can go right ahead and buy it.
